Introduction

Balo disease is a demyelinating disorder of the central nervous system in which the myelin cover of axons is damaged. It is similar to a more common multiple sclreosis.

Symptoms

Symptoms of Balo disease are similar of multiple sclerosis, and can including muscle spasms and paralysis.

Causes

The cause of Balo disease are not clearly understood. It is believed that autoimmune factors could be involved in the development of Balo disease.
